So about the Granturismo.
Apparently it belongs to an international student. Furthermore, she reportedly wrecks it often, only to have it fixed up again.

I feel sorry for it. I volunteer to take it off her hands and end the torturing of sheet metal.

are you back at SLU? Seems I have been working at SIUE, instead of SLU, and although there are some good looking girls, most seem to be corn fed.

"Leadbull, pls halp, bring me to a life of an actual enthusiast, which so few Granturismos actually ever experience!"

I'm at UIUC.
I only went to SLU for one class, for which the credit went to SWIC. I attended SIUC for the first semester of my freshman year.
Also, are there still violent geese running the show at SIUE?

Community college? Reason I ask is that I drive to work past a CC every day. See students driving new 650i Gran Coupes or new S5s. Where I go to get my master's, everyone drives Hondas.
I mean, I'm a car guy, but even I understand priorities.

Hath no worry, fair Maserati, for I hath arrived and shall swiftly carry thee to thine safety.

uh, no. I was going to say something about it. I'll have to Google those others to figure out where you're at, which will likely be the weekend or never as I'm now drunk, and it won't happen tonight.

Not anymore.
I just finished up my associates and rarely saw anything swoonworthy there.

UIUC = The orange one in Champaign that sucks at football.
SWIC = The CC in Belleville.
SIUC = SIUE with more alcohol.

Theres a foreign exchange kid at SUNY Binghamton with a Gran Turismo. Lot of asian kids come over and lease BMWs and Audis and Camaros and Mustangs. Its absurd.

Quick, funny college story.
We were working at Marryville University ( north of KC), and about 6 of us got invited/showed up to a "college party" after penny pitchers night or something. I told some girl it was my first college party, and the look she gave was WTF, "WHAT DID YOU DO AFTER HIGHSCHOOL?" I just worked, I said. And I tried to get some guy to fill my beer bottle from the keg. Was denied. Hah. That job was fucked up.
We took beds from the dorms (that were getting demolished) and took them to the house my company rented to sleep on.

Yeah, it's insane.
I'd never give my kid anything like that, esp. if they're living in a foreign country.
Also, there are apparently a lot of Chinese dignitaries with a lot of children.

Hey, when life gives you free stuff, you take it.
So, do you work for one construction company who moves you around depending on their contract situations with various schools? Or is it like a freelance type thing?

one company 15 years, its sort of like a family.
In STL it is really weird how the unions are really strong buy there is talk of "right to work" I don't really follow it because I have a steady job, with the same company. Granted I make from 60-72K/ year depending on how much overtime I am worked/offered/accept.
I kind of had a "shoe in" since my dad has worked here since '87, but I started because it was summer & my brother, cousin, and cousin's friends all started at same time. I'm the only one of that group still here.
There are 4 guys in the office that bid work consistently, and if its an out of town job, we pretty much go where the work is.
Union Labor work is not a bad gig, and my company has worked a bunch of guys through college that only work summer months. (Starting pay $15/hr). Trust me, some days the work sucks, other days not so bad..
Attica: have never been on a 4wheeler there, always a Cherokee.
